Mary Lennox is a spoiled child. Her parents are too busy to notice her and leave the servants to cope with her tantrums. So when her parents die suddenly , no-one wants her and the only place for her to go is the the remote house on the Yorkshire moors owned by her uncle. There nobody pays any attention to her and she is left alone. Then one day she discovers a hidden door which leads to the secret garden.
